iBeam Enables Streamlined Operation for Multiple OTA Sites

In the rapidly evolving broadcast landscape, operators face unique challenges, including limited channel capacity, rising operational costs, and the need to monetize assets in a competitive market.  iBeam enables users to create, monetize, control and monitor ATSC or DVB/ISDB-T content from a single facility, then distribute to multiple transmitters using SRT.

BridgeMedia Expands With igolgi

BridgeMedia LLC has launched a nationwide project to centralize over-the-air (OTA) terrestrial distribution. Their 85 ATSC television stations supply the remote transmitter sites from the NOC in Farmington Hills, MI. By utilizing H.264, BridgeMedia can double its traditional channel count, creating additional revenue streams. The content is then distributed using Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) to the remote sites, which has proven to be highly reliable and cost-effective.
